Having lived and studied in Dundee for a couple of years, I've been able to explore a lot of the city and find some interesting compositions. Living there allowed me to head out and shoot at a moment's notice so that when the conditions were good, I could capitalise on it as much as possible. There would be days where I would wake up and see a layer of morning fog sitting over the river Tay - this usually meant that all plans for the morning were scrapped, and I would go down to the riverside to shoot some photos immediately after breakfast. The same thing was true for nighttime; I could stay out late and get some long exposure night shots in areas that would normally be bustling with people. Some spots around Dundee that I'd recommend for photography are along the Waterfront, the Dundee Law, Balgay Park, the Rail Bridge, Magdalen Green and across the Tay road bridge, looking back at Dundee over the water.
