Through the Fog

This small collection of photos is from two separate nights, in early winter, where I was sitting at home and as I looked out the window at the streetlight outside the house, I noticed that fog was sitting thickly on the streets. Fog can be an interesting tool for photographers, often creating atmosphere and mood in a shot. Since I don't get opportunities to shoot in such conditions very often, I decided to go out in the local area and attempt to capture some dark, moody shots that recreate the atmosphere of a horror film. I used a long shutter speed to create the slightly blurred/distorted effect of the figure, which I then enhanced while processing the images.
